I would to consider myself an expert when it comes to putting computers together. There are many steps to putting a computer together correctly so that when you hit the power button it turns on and works right. In this paper I will outline the major parts to putting a computer together. After I am done I hope you will be able to think that if you where forced to put one together, you could at least be able to with detailed instructions. The first step in putting a computer together is to round up all the parts you need. There are ten things you are going to have to have in order to make a functional computer. These parts are a mouse, monitor, keyboard, CPU, motherboard, power supply, case, hard drive, video card, and a floppy drive. On average you can save between $200 and $600 when you build your own computer. The reason for this is because if you use online computer manufacturing companies you can get computer hardware and software items cheap. The next step is to find a place free of static electricity. If your motherboard gets shocked you will have a big paper weight or doorstop, whichever one is needed it
