Varinka is a very happy, outgoing woman who pretty much does as she wants. The fact Overusing "the fact that" in this essay¡K leave it out¡K that he asked if she was laughed at was important because if she laughed at her then he would feel as if he was being laughed at on her behalf. As Varinka declared to everyone in town that Byelinkov was her future husband, she also took on the ability to diminish his reputation with her words and actions. She was very selfish in her acts as she did think how they would make her husband look and feel. Keep it in present tense!

Throughout the entire play, Varinka continuously ignores Byelinkov¡¦s wishes that the things in his life stay the same, as he does not adapt to change well at all.
