Deanna smoked cannabis in her younger years, and discontinued use when she had children. She is at risk for glaucoma because her IOP (Inner Ocular Pressure) is above the normal rate. As a society people are blocked from knowing the truth about cannabis because of its regulations. Without having the freedom to grow and experiment with cannabis, the truth is hard to grasp, but history and fact prevail. Even with the regulations people still experiment, cannabis is easy to produce and people can easily stay to themselves, family, and close friends. The hiding must stop, and the people need to step forward. The people’s right to grow, harvest, and use cannabis sativa should not be illegal, for the health benefits are rewarding. Cannabis offers an alternative medicine source for relief from everyday aches and pains to relief from life threatening diseases. The average woman suffers once a month from menstrual cramps and bloating; by smoking small quantities of cannabis a woman has immediate relief. Over four million Americans suffer from glaucoma that is caused by the build up of fluid. Cannabis helps release the pressure by dehydrating the eye keeping the IOP at a safe level.
