A Day In The Shoes Of A Typical Man

A Day In the Shoes of A Typical Man .
A young group of men sat around a cafeteria table. Jokes and laughter frequently rise up from table. Sometimes there were even a few suspicious stares directed at the group. A sudden hush of the entire table made for an unfamiliar silence. A girl walks by the table, moving that special way that only girls do in front of boys. The whole table diverted their focus to the girl. The girl passes and then a dull roar appears again. "Would you?" "I don't know if I would. Would you?" "That's good question you know. I think I would." "I definitely would. Most definitely." Similar remarks and comments are frequent in the rest of the conversation. Another brushes by the table and smiles at one of the guys. We all look at him. He is blushing now as we stare at him. Questions were implicated at the point of all the stares. "So, what's up with that?" "You get any dabit yet?" "Anything going on right there?" The questions ease off once he starts to reply to them. There were a lot of one word answers as the recipient of the verbal beating tried to ward the guys off. The conversation dies again when a girl we all know very well walks by. Not one of us really like this girl, so there were a few harsh rumors said. The rumor mill opened its floodgates and sudden verifications/denials were issued out to according to its content. Puzzled and curious looks are a common place. Some even ponder whether they themselves have paid an inadvertent trip to the STD vending machine. Someone then cracks a joke and laughter once again arises from the table. An annoying bell rings out over the noise in the cafeteria and the group arises in just about unison form. .
That was an example of what happened every day at my lunch table in high school. That conversation makes my friends and me look like typical males. Well, any of us would tell you that we are typical males. All males are the same.
