In my life, “reaching the heights” has meant keeping myself motivated, always having my priorities in order, and most importantly remaining strong in my faith. For me, staying motivated is easy as long as I set long term and short term goals for myself. To be able to do this I have to keep thinking about what it is that I want to make out of my life, and I think this has helped me find who I really am.
My religion is undoubtedly my greatest influence in being successful. In my opinion success is not limited to how well you are at doing something or how prosperous your life is. Success is being the best person you personally can be. Being a strong catholic has been the basis of me becoming the best I can be. It has kept my morals strong and has reminded me of what is truly most important in life.

Leadership is something I have worked hard to obtain. It is not necessarily easy to be a leader. To be a leader you have to have a good understanding of what your morals are and a good understanding of how to talk to people effectively. I lead my class as Student Council Secretary. I love this position because I have learned how to be in charge of executing a plan, and how to work well with people so that everyone is happy. I was also invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. I attended the forum in Chicago for ten days in which I learned a great deal about careers in medicine. From this experience I realized I would love to become a doctor. This is one of my biggest goals even though I know it will be difficult, I believe I can achieve it.
