The purpose of this paper is to evaluate what kind of demand people have for outdoor recreational activities. The idea of this paper is to collect information from people that tell a little about their experiences with outdoor recreational activities over the past year. This information will be compared and contrasted. I will not only be comparing different types of activities and participation rates but I will be looking at what kinds of people are participating in these activities. I will ask the people being surveyed about their basic demographic and socio- economic characteristics. This information will help me make some recommendations for the future needs of this region.
In this survey the minimum amount of people to be surveyed was 20. I had to approach 25 people with the survey to meet this criterion. One person out of the 25 did not return the survey. Four people did not have time to answer the survey and said that it would be better to ask someone else. No one was really reluctant to answer the survey. This is probably because I knew most of the people. I surveyed people from my neighborhood as well as family, friends, and co-workers. I suspect that I would have had to approach more people if I
