Robin Hood Compare/contrast
Picture for me a horizon dotted with lush green trees and fields of bountiful bushes. Toss in a little Robin Hood, then sprinkle on King Richard I, oh, don’t forget a dash of The Sheriff of Nottingham, King John I, and Sir Guy of Gisbourne. Next add the Maid Marian and a smidgen of the Saxons, plus add years of sweltering anger. Add fighting when necessary, but be careful of excess. What is the end result? This is a recipe for one of the largest known myths, the story of Robin Hood, whether it be myth or a figment of imagination, compared from 1938 to 1999. Two movies, both created in separate times, shown to hundreds of thousands of people that formed temporary thoughts that will live in the hearts and minds of viewers forever. These movies were formed from two completely different time periods. The first being incredibly vague and fluent to the times in which it was made.
