School = Success

I believe education is the key to success. The increase of a person’s success directly relates to the length one spends in school. There are people who become successful with less education. As athletes, musical artists, actors, and people such as Bill Gates have proven many times over. Part of success is being able to save money so that it will last beyond the length of one’s career. This is where many people lack skill. With an education, the person is able to manage money and save his/her earnings. Some very rich people have little education yet continue to succeed in life yet these are unique people. Not everyone is able to succeed like those people, most need education to guide and strengthen his/her natural abilities. Education provides a way for intelligent people to ascend above his/her peers and be successful. Education guides people toward success by accenting their traits of triumph.

My definition of the word success: being able to adequately provide for your family, to be sophisticated, to have wealth, to be happy with what you are doing, to be proficient at your career, to be respected, and to be able to reach your lifelong goals. The Webster’s Dictionary defines it as: “1. The achievement of som

This is evident from the statistics from the Us Department of Labor:

Moving on to college is a weighted decision. It is a large amount of money to spend and a limited time in which to choose the occupation for the following forty-years. The pressure is so tremendous that not everyone can stand it. However, those that stand it have the ability to go far within his/her life. I see people around me all the time that have trouble restricting themselves from newfound freedoms. Each class I attend I regret this is only the beginning. I am not a child riding my bike down a hill with the cool breeze tingling my cheeks. In college, time goes into sections of schoolwork, socialization, jobs, errands, etc. In college, you learn what your priorities are. In the American society today (as well as many others), we lengthen the time in which we spend in school. As a result, I believe that the period of maturation into an adult’s mindset is not complete with the completion of high school.

Those who choose not to go on to further their education can also succeed. This is predominant in careers such as sports, acting, and singing. If a person has talent, time, dedication, and most of all luck, they have the ability to go far without an education. The public will notice the ‘stars’ that shine brightest. These select few have something great to offer, whether it is their unique skill in athletics, acting, intelligence in a certain subject, or singing. In return, they will gain fame and fortune. Some spend the money too quickly, others save it, some do not get any from it, and still others have tremendous amounts of it that are never ending. Most stars use managers and advisors to help supervise his/her money. Both the public and stars use dedication, intelligence, and perseverance to succeed.

ething desired, planned, or attempted: attributed their success in business to hard work. 2. a. The gaining of fame or prosperity: an artist spoiled by success. b. The extent of such gain. 3. One that is successful” I am a high school graduate and I now attend college. I have a goal for my future. It in tales receiving my bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and most likely my PhD. I want to become a child psychologist. I have chosen this path after a lot of deliberation and consideration. Most humans crave to better themselves; we want to the best of the best. In gaining an education, we are able to fulfill that desire.

Jobs requiring an associate degree are projected to grow by 31 percent and to add more than one million jobs by 2008. In addition, Jobs requiring postsecondary vocational training are projected to grow by 14 percent and add 600,000 more jobs by 2008.

Over the years, education has become increasingly essential to those who wish to make money. Data collected by the National Center for Education Statistics shows that “the number of people 25 years or older earning
