Many sports figures retire at the pinnacle of their career so that they can proclaim to have gone out on top. One very prominent player to do this was Michael Jordan. After winning his sixth NBA championship he hung up his jersey and was thought to have never returned to the sport, but after two and a half years he has returned to help a dying franchise that he holds a part ownership spot for.
