Cigarette money could be spent on clothes. Smokers always need new clothes because all of their clothes smell. Neither Tommy Girl perfume, Wisk laundry detergent, or even Febreze can’t mask the foul odor that smokers emit. With luck and a sheet of sandpaper as a washcloth, the smell might disintegrate in the shower, as well as your skin!
The most important reason to quit smoking is you. Stand up and be a proud, independent woman. A woman does not need to rely on cigarettes to be content, and a woman is smart enough to see through the lies in tobacco advertisements. Women’s suffrage was passed in 1920 and those early activists showed what they were made of. Now it is your turn. Take your vote to the nearest election and make a difference. Support tougher tobacco laws and education in schools about the hazards of tobacco. After all, if you had known how ugly smoking would make you, you would have never started.
Perhaps all your girlfriends smoke too. They accept it and they enjoy it. Well, the rest of the non-smoking population does not.
