Socioligical Perspective
A Mr. Berger summed up the sociological perspective by seeing the general in a particular. Seeing patterns and noticing the behavior of different people are characteristics of sociology. Human behavior is not what people decide to do, nor does society shape our lives. We can choose our own outlook on society by gaining knowledge of other societies. Sociological perspective helps view the truth of common sense. Questioning the ordinary beliefs and taking precautions with assumptions and opinions. It helps notice opportunities and constraints. By learning and adapting we can choose our paths in life. People have the ability to participate in society. It also helps us live in a diverse world. The origins of Sociology came from many different changes that occurred in the world. From the Industrial technology came the occurrence of cities. Cities created more crime, anger, pollution, and strange non-traditional family uprisings. All of these changed and developed society as the world grew. Social paradigms play a big part in the world today. The majority of people don’t realize the name for what they encounter every day but it is there. Deriving from social structure to social conflicts. R
