“The Adventure’s of Ozzie and Harriet” was a television sitcom shown in the 1950’s. The characters were Ozzie (father), Harriet (mother), Ricky (oldest brother), and David (youngest brother). Although this family seems perfect, nothing is ever perfect. “Ozzie and Harriet” is an example of many things wrong with a family sitcom. One of the things wrong with this show is its lack of reality. People who watch “Ozzie and Harriet” feel that their own family members should have the same relationship as this television family. Mr. Curtis writes, “….they love to walk into rooms of the house and greet each other. Scene after scene begins with: ‘Hi Mom. Hi, Pop’”.
