The career of a truck driver can be is a very god career not just because the money is good but also you get to see the country. This career sounds good but before you get to the good stuff just like anything else you have to start from the bottom. You would get started by asking your self these types of questions: What am I going to do in this occupation? , what are the all requirements, and other questions will follow so you can get all the information you need in other to answer all of your questions. The first question was what are you going to do in this occupation? Well you have two types of short and long. Short-distance truck-drivers are often a link between the transportation industry (trains, aero planes, long-distance trucks and ships) and its customers. Truck-drivers are responsible for picking up goods from factories and delivering them to a terminal for further conveyance, or for the final delivery of goods from terminals to stores and homes. When truck-drivers arrive at a terminal or warehouse, they receive assignments to make deliveries, pickups or both from the dispatcher.
