            Thesis: The Beatles changed the face of popular music forever with their unique style sound and musical ability.
             If you were to ask someone that lived during the sixties what their favorite band was, they would probably tell you the Beatles. It would be uncommon to even find someone that hasn't heard of the Beatles, because their influence is part of so many musical aspects today. The Beatles were a band that took America by storm. To this day The Beatles still hold the record on the pop charts with five hits simultaneously occupying the top five slots. "The Beatles were shock troops of British pop invasion, blazing a trail that would be followed by youth around the world."(Howell Peter)The first time John, Paul, George, and Ringo's first "Yeah, yeah, yeah" sounded across the radio a new age had begun. Beatlmainia took America by the heart and still grasps people with the same velocity that it did when their first song came out. Before the Beatles came to America rock and roll was showing signs that it would not be around for much longer. They kept it alive and the music industry today owes much to the Beatles for making rock and roll the music of today and keeping it alive. The foursome came to America with a music that would be the ever-changing Pop music that we know today. Before the Beatles there was no critics or Rolling Stone magazine the Beatles started that aspect of the music industry that we know so well today. If it weren't for the Beatles who knows what music would sound like. The Beatles changed the face of popular music forever with their unique style sound and musical ability. .
             The Beatles were an extremely talented band and there were several elements that contributed to their raving success. The Beatles were the greatest composers since Beethoven.(London Sunday Times) There musical talent was phenomenal, and this was a key element to the Beatles being who they were.
