The focus of the research was the influence of a regimented workout program and the impact it has on lower golf scores. If a strong workout program is beneficial and lowers golf scores, then anyone wanting to improve their golf game would need to develop a program that is suitable for that individual. By comparing the golf scores of a group who participates routinely in a workout program and a group who does not participate, we may be able to provide some evidence that there is a physiological side to the game of golf that would in fact make someone a better player.
