The Militia Movement: America’s Last Defense
The militia movement is a growing concern in America. It has awakened the American public to the reality that armed resistance, led by U.S. citizens, has the potential to take place against the American Government on U.S. soil. This resistance, however, has taken a different form than what we usually associate with terrorism. In essence, we have various groups of disgruntled Americans, armed with their rights guaranteed by the U.S. constitution, who are concerned with the growth and illegitimacy of the United States Government and share a common feeling of a slow, gradual enslavement by a tyrannical, oppressive regime. Although most citizens are quite happy with the current form of government and do not see any “conspiracy” in the brewing, the militia groups have a long list of concerns which I will bring to the forefront in an attempt to get a better understanding of the mindset behind the growing militia movement in America.Okay, so what is the militia and where did they come from? The various militia groups that are currently operating in America claim to derive their authority from Title 10 Ch.13 s. 311 of the United States Code in addition to the 2nd and 10th amendments of the U.S. Constitution. The New World Order has many definitions to many people. Some from a religious mindset will say it is a fulfillment of Revelation in the New Testament in which a satanic, one-world government under the leadership of the antichrist, a manifestation of the devil himself, will control all movement of goods services and people of this planet. In addition a New World Religion, in essence Luciferian, will be established and all must bow down and worship or face execution at the guillotine. Resisters to this order, namely Christians, will be rounded up and placed in concentration camps for the coming holocaust. No one will be able to buy or sell without first receiving the mark of the beast, and since to do so would be an abomination to the Christian god (Jesus/Joshua of Nazareth) all followers would rather be martyred or resist, thus food and weapons stockpiling are essential to the movement. Others see the New World Order from a socioeconomic perspective in which a consolidation of all the goods and resources of the planet would fall into the hands of several international conglomerates, which would place the citizens of the world at a severe disadvantage. This consolidation of resources and assets are purportedly being brought about by various organizations that include the Council on Foreign Relations, The Tri-Lateral Commission, and the Bilderberg group. Another hot topic with the militia groups are the incidents that took place at Ruby Ridge, Idaho with Randy Weaver and at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. These government actions were believed to be the start of the tyrannical government onslaught against those people who oppose the “New World Order” to come in which an oppressive “big brother” Anti-Judeo-Christian society with it perversions and immoralities will force its way of life onto those who refuse to participate.
