After awhile when people started to get more advanced, they decided that it was very unfair that Timex could determine their lives for them. Some thought, “why could Timex and other Greek gods live forever but we have to die?” It was a question that was asked to him a lot and he responded, with a composed look on his face and a sigh, “death will come no matter what you do and I am just making it all the better, really it’s true!” No one really understood where he was going with this explanation and people were angry that he was making everyone die. He told them, “if everybody lived, our world would become pure evil. There would be no food, no place to live and God’s world would be nothing but a waste. I am a prophet sent down by God to help everyone out and put them in place.” After awhile, people started to think, “what happens if we kill Timex, then we won’t die and everything will be as it should!” So they decided it would be a plan to kill the “evil” god and everything would be good. One stormy night all the people of the city gathered around his workshop and busted down the door with a long thick pole made of wood. Frightened, Timex looked up from his work and shielded himself with one of his clocks. The people threw stones at him and broke every clock in the shop. All the dwarfs were killed also because they knew how to make these clocks. Then, they furiously grabbed him and dragged his body outside where they could torture him some more. He was beaten to death
