Janie begins her adventures after leaving Logan to marry Joe Starks. She overcomes many obstacles during her marriage to Joe, the same as Odysseus on his journey to battle. During her life with Joe, Janie struggles to keep her fighting spirit alive and battles to keep her individuality.

Not only does she bring back a story to tell, but she also brings back wisdom and important life lessons to share with the world.
