Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods represents everything that young athletes across America dream to be. He has been number one on the money list for the PGA Tour since his third year being professional, and has been rewriting the record books since he joined the tour. People actually root against Tiger because he wins so much; however, he works for everything he has accomplished. After a round during a tournament, Tiger does not call it a day; instead he heads out to the driving range until it is too dark to continue. This shows the extreme desire and drive that Tiger has, he is ranked number one in the world, and is still striving to improve his game. Most people would simply say, I have accomplished everything that I could ever want, so I am going to take it easy and stop working. Tiger still works his heart out, and his competitiveness shows through every time he picks up a club. Tiger is a very inspiring person, when people watch him, and his work ethic, they can do nothing but admire what he puts into the game.

Tiger accredits much of his success to his two role models in life, his mother and his father. In 1996, Tiger and his father, Earl Woods, created a charity program known as the Tiger Woods Foundation. The foundation helps young kids realize that if they just put their minds towards their dreams, miracles can happen and they will someday achieve their dreams.
