If I were trying to convert a scientific-minded person then I would use the proof of origin from design. There are two premises to this proof. The major premise states that is there is a design there must be a designer. Our computer did not just luckily fall into place in order to be useable it must have had a designer that put the parts together. Humans are the same way. Without God there is no designer and humans simply were made by luck. The minor premise says that the universe has a design, or an intelligent mind behind it. Our universe has seemingly been designed specifically for human life.

There are many proofs to the existence of God, but the proof used in different situations with different people is important to turning them into believers. There must be reasons for these phenomena in our universe but no one can seem to give a valid answer to how the universe began. Until someone gives a somewhat logical answer to that question there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that there is a God. Any rational human being should understand that.

When trying to prove the existence of God to a person who is unsure what to believe is the existence of miracles. Miracles are things that happen that neither nature nor human power can cause. Only a supernatural power can cause them. Jesus used miracles to prove himself because they are such a good proof to God’s existence. Jesus often did them in front of large groups like when He turned water into wine at the wedding party. He also raised Lazarus from the dead in front of an entire funeral procession. These are extremely convincing because they don’t take much internal thought. Any person would be impressed at the sight of water changing in
