God

Different proofs work better for different people. The scientific approach will work better for some than it will for others. Different people are going to look at the proofs in different ways, with different opinions and viewpoints. Proof of God as a first cause, proof of God through conscience, and proof of a God through religious people of history are the three best to use. All of these reasons show clearly why God must exist and are the easiest to understand. Throughout human existence, a need for a supreme being is seen. The universe couldn’t have been created out of nothing. Through the natural moral law in every human, shown through conscience, God can be seen. I have come to find that these proofs do prove God exists and are very hard to argue against.

For the students at St. Joe this is the best proof of God: The universe is growing, everyday; the Milky Way galaxy gets farther and farther away from the next closest galaxies. If time were put in reverse, the distances between galaxies and solar systems would be getting smaller and smaller. Eventually the universe would come back to a point. This theory explains that the universe did have a beginning, it hasn’t been around forever. There must exist

The understanding of the good and what is right in all humans is God. The universe was created with logic and reason. The universe has an uncaused caused. God is the first cause. God gave the universe reason and logic. Humans’s consciences are proof of the God’s reason and logic. Natural Moral Law couldn’t come from other humans because humans are imperfect and fallible. God is infallible and perfect. It can’t come from moral relativism because of humanity’s weakness of free will. Conscience separates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom. Through the existence of conscience, and Natural Moral Law, God is able to be seen. Everyone knows that they have or had at one time, a desire to do good. This desire can only be explained through God. This proof of God through conscience could be used for those who have a feeling of a supreme being, but don’t act on it. These people obviously recognize or would recognize after hearing this, that they desire to do what is considered right and wrong. They don’t necessarily understand this desire, and where it comes from, but the proof of God is there. It shows them why God has to be the root of all consciences.

something that is eternal. As the universe grows and expands it loses energy and light, just like any material thing that experiences depreciation over time. Matter is not eternal. For matter to be uncaused, it would mean to throw out all knowledge of physics, chemistry and many other fields of science. If matter was somehow created out of nothing, all of science would become erroneous. God is the first cause, that create
