             In recent years pregnancy has been labeled a major issue amongst teenagers that is can be known as an epidemic in our society. A large amount of young girls have unwanted pregnancies each year dude the lack of birth control use. Each year an estimated one million U.S teenage girls become pregnant. Teen mothers are most likely to drop out of school and slip into poverty. This has devastated our economy because we are using government funds to help out these teens. If birth control could be used among teens perhaps this money could go toward education and restoring the broken communities of the United States (Glazer). .
