Fellow students and teacher. Today I will be speaking on the statement that Australia has enough domestic problems without entering into international conflicts. Australia has domestic problems, but definitely not a number that would constitute putting Australia and its future at risk. Some may argue that health and unemployment are arguments against being involved, but as I will explain, these are not such arguments.

Australia’s Health System is constantly under the microscope. Not because of the world leading advancements in medicine being made by Australian scientists, but rather for small reasons such as salaries for hospital workers, or the lack of beds in hospitals in regions that research has shown don’t really need the beds anyway. How really can you please the public? How can you really convince the public that Australia’s Health System is at a very high level? The answer is simple. What this all means is that supporting fellow human beings in conflicts, even when our country is not directly threatened, eventuates into long-term benefits for our country. Turning on these relationships would mean all of our forefathers and war veteran’s blood would have been spilled in vain. Their lives would all of a sudden mean nothing. In essence these people are saying that domestic problems should come before international problems, which will only affect domestic issues anyhow. This is preposterous. A total wast of time and a complete contradiction of the real issue at hand. Finally, the choice is yours. Either support the people who are so confused with themselves they don’t know which way they are going of support the people who see the real benefits and who are ensuring the future of this great nation.

e people who have been diagnosed with a non-curable condition and have come to Australia and been cured. Ask these very people where they think they would be without the Australian Health System. I’m sure that many of them wouldn’t hesitate in saying they would be dead. These people were saved by a system that would have to be one of the best in the first world, how can we say it is a reason no to ensure the safety of our nation and the world.
