This website breaks down each individual trace fossil with descriptions, pictures and research findings. The remainder of this paper will discuss a few of these trace fossils and how paleontologists use the evidence presented by each to make interpretations about dinosaurs. Second, tooth marks are impressions left by biting with teeth. Dinosaurs who fed on other dinosaurs left distinctive tooth marks on bones, indicating not only that they carnivorous, but also signifying feeding habits for certain types of other dinosaurs.
