It is clear that in the future there are going to be less and less jobs, and of those who have one, the law of supply and demand will mean most won’t receive a fair living wage. As that time approaches, we will all need to find other ways of becoming economically self-sufficient. I have realized this for a long time, and for a long time have felt the pressure to realize economic independence. I also know I am not alone in this. With most who are called to be artists, the question of making a living, at what she or he does best, always looms. I know too well the ‘struggling artist syndrome’.
As more jobs dwindle, electronic economies are increasing. As I write this, the global economy is experiencing a dynamic shift. In order to survive that shift, we each have to evolve our thinking about how we generate currency in our lives. There isn’t going to be a better time to begin participating in this new economy. The market is not ripe: meaning – prepare for a harvest. If you don’t know what this new economy is yet it is the economy of electronic commerce.
