Yellowstone park

I am going to talk about Yellowstone National Park fires and what effect they have on the animals, the animals habitats, and also the flowers and trees. I will also discuss how much land is wasted and burnt from these fires.

All the animals that live in the park are mule deer, white tail deer, moose, elk, weasels, prairie dogs, wolfs, bear, several different kinds of cats, several varieties of birds and fish. Many of the animals are killed from the fires in the National Park. This is the main reason why the numbers of animals have been reduced. Not only do the animals die from the fire, they die because of the lack of food. When there is a fire many of the plants and grasses burn. There are also many trees that burn, like the oak trees that drop acorns. The animals starve to death because they have no food to eat or they travel far away to find other food. The heat is also a threat to the animals because with the lack of water they animals will dehydrate and die. Yel

It will take many years for the plants and flowers to grow back. The trees that have been destroyed by the fire will take up to 5- to 100 years to grow back to the size they we before the fire. As you can imagine, the beauty of the forest is no longer present because of the fires. It looks very plain and deserted. When we went through Yellowstone on our family vacation we could see where the fires had burnt the habitat and wildlife. It was very dark and still smoking in places. It is very difficult to stop forest fires because you don’t know where they are going to start or when they are going to start. What I do think is that there is a faster way to put the fires out. If we can fly to the moon, we certainly can find better ways of fighting fires.

lowstone National Park watchers help all they can by feeding the animals and watch for fires so they can get to them and put the fires out as quickly as possible. Heat and lightening cause forest fires along with carelessness of human beings.
