As the United States was attacked by Japan, our memories of this day shall never cease. The decade of the 1940’s can be described as the best of times and the worst of times due to the struggles overcome by America as a nation and the horrifying loss of our soldiers to the threat of war. The story of Pearl Harbor still remains strong today whether people were there or just heard the stories. It is a day that we as a nation hope and pray will never reoccur, and a day that will be remembered throughout American history.
