... of the political beliefs that he had. The political issues of his that I agreed with him on, is his plan for tax relief, his health care plan, his road plans, his education belief. The one political issue of his that I found a little bit shady is his beliefs on abortion. He feels that a woman should have the option of aborting their children, I think that ... abortions should be illegal. The best characteristic that Jack had was that he came across as being honest. He showed that he was honest when he boldly stated his opinions on the death penalty. I also liked the fact that Jack Frank...

... regard for the victims" suffering, humiliation, and personal integrity. "It is by exacting the highest penalty for the taking human life that we affirm the highest value of human life." I, on the other hand, do not accept this logic. I agree with death penalty victim Joseph Carl Shaw when he states in a letter to the governor that "killing is wrong when I did ... it. Killing is wrong when you do it." I simply do not see the logic in murdering someone who has committed a murder because the same penalty is occurring; the taking of someone's life. Plain and simply put, killing is wrong....

... so we truly know if that individual is insane. It is difficult to determine if someone is telling the truth about their mental state. In our justice system a lot depends on how well a person is defended. If a defense attorney sees no serious signs of mental illness, he will not attempt to defend his client in this fashion. When using the insanity ... client was or was not thinking at the time of the crime. That is a major reason why this defense does not work. We can never be truly certain that what you see in court is the real thing. As much as I feel that this defense is flawed, I rea...

We do not stone people as they did in the dark ages it is much more civilized; it is done by lethal injection. Because of things like over population in the jails, and things of that nature. The belief that the more "hardcore" cases should be put to the maximum p...
