August 13, 2001 my shelter is finished, it took me all day today to finish it but it is finally done. I am located on the outskirts of the jungle so to not be hit by really bad storms and to hear search and rescue planes ... into the ocean. The guys managed to stay onboard and my brother held on for dear life to floating debris, they spotted him after the boat tipped and threw him a line of rope to pull him in. They searched till morning with helicopters and boats searching the area for me....
