The story of Olaudah Equiano I think this story was believable. I would imagine that he exaggerated a little bit. Olaudah probably knew that if he could inform people about what he saw then they would understand what happened a little clearer. Anyone would have made that story sound worse than it ... the believibility of the beginning of the story would be to see if his sister wrote about what happened.
