             Like many other college students, we have a lot of pressing financial issues. Some of us either attend school full or part time as well as hold down a full or part time job. Some students in Urban societies have benefits over others, and many oppurtunites provided for them. College tuition can become very expensive, and without certain means, many students could wind up in a very stressful situation. .
             Many college kids find that having a roommate can help in their financial management. With a roommate, you not only have someone to split all your expenses with you, but someone close to confide in and help you out. Even though a roommate is helpful, you can still have other expenses. Some of these could include a car payment, cell phone and of course those dreaded credit card bills! Over the years, you can learn to try to maintain your amount of spending. You can budget the amount of money going out every month according to what you are bringing in. Some helpful tips would be to not use your credit cards unless you have an emergency situation. This can help all those compound interests payments from accruing. My philosophy on this is, "If you don't have it, don't buy it!" This can be hard at times, but in the long run you will be thankful for your wise decision making.
             Many students have several obligations to people when graduating from college. Some of these include paying back thousands of dollars in student loans. It is critical to get your spending under control now, so that you aren't paying the consequences at a later date.
