             Holy week recalls the events that lead to Jesus" death and Resurrection.
             Holy week involves Jesus entering into Jerusalem, his death, crucifixion and resurrection. This is why Holy Week is probably the most important time for Christians because it symbolises God's love for us all when he sent his only begotten son down to earth to forgive us of our sins.
             Jesus had risen from the dead. He overcame death so believers in him would have eternal life. It was truly the greatest act of unconditional love for all mankind. To lay down his life so we could not be defeated by death and have eternal life. .
             It also shows the strength of Jesus for his pain and struggle that he endured when he was crucified on the cross for something he had not done - this shows how Jesus has experienced pain too, and can relate to us.
             Jesus resurrection shows his true power because he overcame death, and this represents how death is not the end of life, but the start of a new one - one offering eternal life with God in heaven. People celebrate Holy Week firstly by using prayer, holy communions and choral prayers to represent the glory of Jesus" life and death. They also re-enact the events such as the Last Supper.
