Dixie Chicks Under Fire

            Even with all of the controversy, revolving around the DIxie Chicks, people are not looking at 2 important things: Individual Rights, and the music itself. We live in the land of the free, and if you are in any shape, way, or form a celebrity, some of those "free" rights go directly down the toilet. For example, it is the eve of a war, you are on foreign land, people are against you, simply because you are American, so you make a remark to let them know, Hey, I agree with you, and want you to know, we might be from there, but we dont always agree with what decisions are made there. Even though, it might have been the wrong place to say something like that, on the wrong day, she had the right to say it. Because she is a celebrity, it was propelled into this HUGE anti-american slogan. Of course, any texan who may have said this, would have received nothing but a head nod, or a simple remark, but No! The person who said it was a celebrity, and the media, along with every other self-indulged, let's try and bring down someone because I have nothing better to do and it makes me look better as a person, bring down this person, as hard as they could! ( more later, in get so P.O ed thinking about this, i am stopping) .
