Why WasThere A Sesond Evolution in Russia in November 1917

 

            The 15th of March, 1917, the tsar gives up and abdicates after two weeks of national riots and strikes among soldiers and workers. One of the greatest empires in the world has collapsed like a tower of cards would fall if one of the cards at the bottom was removed. 300 years of autocratic rule was sat to an end suddenly and surprisingly. The "Provisional Government" sat up by the pre-existing Duma, is in hand of power. It doesn't manage to rule the country for a bit more than 7 months before a new revolution comes up in November. The Bolsheviks seizes the power and leads Russia into a new era of its history. The proletarian dictatorship has begun.
             Why was there a second revolution? What was the policy of the Provisional Government? Why did it fail? Who were their opponents? How did the Bolsheviks succeed? .
             Russia, after the first revolution, was split into two opponent powers. The Provisional Government sat with the formal power, but met great adversity from the Petrograd Soviet. The Petrograd Soviet had its basis in the Petrograd working class, and consisted of mostly Social revolutionists, Mensheviks and other political groups growing with revolutionary ideas. The Petrograd Soviet had no formal power but was gradually strengthened. The first case leading towards a new revolution was the growing power of the opposing parties, and the politics of the Provisional Government. It did not obtain the support from the people nor improved the situation in Russia. .
             The first problem meeting the Provisional government was its leadership. There were a lot of internal struggle and the leaders were not as competent as needed. There was some kind of a lukewarm interest about the governing, especially among the people who were distanced from the question of government after 300 years of autocracy. The Petrograd Soviet's strong radical leaders again, had returned from refuge abroad after the revolution strengthening the parties.
