The foreground is in 3D form while the background is in 2D form. The hierarchy of text is "Charlies Angels," because it is bigger and bolder and attracts you eyes to it. The second most important text is "Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu." Figure Three on the other hand is extremely different, even though it was only released 17 years earlier. In figure three there is a strong use of straight lines with thin black outlines. Figure Three Like Figure four uses limited colours. Figure three uses only primary colours Red/Blue/Yellow, where as figure four uses mainly secondary colours. Both Figure Three and figure four use little texture and most of their colour is in solid blocks. Figure three uses only very simple shapes and is all in a 2D form, where as figure four uses a combination of 2D and 3D form. Figure three uses repetition, the people and he boxes, although not exactly the same, are repeated, or the "general idea" is repeated. Figure three is not totally in proportion but is not distorted and there is no use of cropping in figure three like in figure four. .
             In figure three there is not a great deal of rendering, plus the rendering that is used is in rather solid blocks. This does help the image look real but does not attempt to make the image seem like a proper drawing of photograph. Figure three being a later piece of artwork (1984) is following more if a contemporary theme. Figure two on the other hand was released in 1971; just 12 years before the release of figure three. Figure two is a detailed drawing with many different compartments and bits of pieces everywhere. The artist who created the image for figure two used detailed rendering, to create pattern etc, not to try and make the image look real or resemble something from real life. The rendering that it artist used for figure two creates a comic book look. .
             The artist who designed the cover for figure one (1969) barley used any rendering techniques as the record cover he/she designed was made from plasticine.
