             The question of whether your heredity or your environment has more of an affect on your .
             Many studies conducted between twins however, have shown .
             that things such as behavioural traits and personality are inherited qualities. Also, it has also .
             been shown that traits such as leadership, and traditionalism were also determined by heredity.
             It is evident that heredity has more of an influence on ones behaviour than does their .
             environment.
             The idea that heredity is more influential on ones behavioural traits can be supported by .
             studies done on twins. Since identical twins have the same genetic make up, they are ideal .
             candidates for this type of study. Observations from such studies state that in many cases twins.
             tend to have simular behavioural traits. Things such as mannerisms, gestures, speech patterns, .
             habits and jokes have been observed as common between many sets of twins. Another example.
             that supports the greater influence of heredity are examples of siblings raised in different homes.
             In a 1979 statement by "Willerman" it is explained how researchers studied children who had.
             been adopted and raised apart(away from their natural mothers). The IQ scores of the natural.
             mothers and children were compared. While the scores of the children and their adoptive parents.
             were not simular, those of the children's natural mother's were. In addition, another study .
             conducted among twins revealed that personality traits of twins that had been raised apart are.
             very simular as well. Such traits as "social-closeness", "harm avoidance", and "well being", .
             were seen as being simular among people with simular genes (twins).
             Having being raised by my father for th past 16 years of my life, it was quite a change.
