Taekwondo, the Healthy Martial Art.

 

            
             Taekwondo is one of the ori ental Martial Art. It was well-founded in Kore a the year 37 b.c in order to defense to the enemies. Nowadays is considered as a International Sport and turned into an official sport in the 2000 Olympics, Sydney, Australia .
             I have been practicing this sport since I was four years old because my father was and is my master. This magical Martial Art is not a simply sport, it has been developing over these twenty centuries in Korea and that means that contains part of the culture, philosophy and the Asian way of thinking. Taekwondo means literally the way of kicking and punching. The aim of this martial art is to control, defense one self and personal spiritual improvement. All these activities are based to defense which was originally developed for protection against enemy attacks. This sport surprise you helping to improve your self-confident and as the same is helpful for your physical conditioning which is not only an enormous benefit to your mental life but also benefit for your concentration and mental performance. Moreover, there is no age and sex to practice this sport because it is a sport based on using hands and fee which is possible for anyone.
             If we analyze deeper we can find the poomses. There are a series of techniques settled by the years that allows people to practice defense and offence movements against an imaginary opponent. The poomses tries to match ideological natural figures like fire, wind, earth Each color belt has it own poomse which gets harder by the time you get the following belt.
             There are six different colors: white, yellow, green, blue, red and black.
             The white color means the purity the innocence as the beginning, the yellow means the earth from which a plant sprouts and takes roots as the foundation, the green means the plants growth as Taekwondo skills begin to develop, the blue means heaven towards which the plant grows to the sky, the red means danger advising that still has to perform and control and the black means the opposite to white signifying maturity and improvement.
