Today ASDA proved it as the giant over all rivals in the supermarket wars like Sainsbury , Tesco. ASDA said its posh nosh ranges, sold as ASDA had been the strong seller. Besides its non-food sales toys , gifts ,sectors perform strongly which was rises more than 13% contrasting the year 2011. As ASDA is facing a time of challenge that demands to adapt change in their management to achieve its objectives . Now the task which is given to me I will try to find out in which strategic changes in ASDA is going through. .

Operations Management deals with the design and management of products, processes, services and supply chains. It considers the acquisition, development, and utilization of resources that firms need to deliver the goods and services their clients want. The purvey of OM ranges from strategic to tactical and operational levels. Representative strategic issues include determining the size and location of manufacturing plants, deciding the structure of service or telecommunications networks, and designing technology supply chains.
Tactical issues include plant layout and structure, project management methods, and equipment selection and replacement.
