Childhood Obesity in America

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2010), the percentage of obese children in America has tripled over the past 30 years. For example, French states that a small order of French fries typically contains about 200 calories and 10 g of fat, and a large hamburger contains nearly 600 calories and 35 g of fat (As cited in Fast-food consumption among US adults and children research, 2003). .
