You are strongly encouraged to use a broad range of literature to support your work. The paper must clearly demonstrate the patient's pre-operative health condition and the reason for the patient having surgery. You should explore in depth, using current best practice and literature the intraoperative phase of the patient's surgery, including possible complications and the rationale for any management priorities made by the team. It is expected that you would provide knowledge of the main anaesthetic issues involved with the surgery and knowledge of the post-operative nursing care required for the patient with that procedure. A discussion regarding any major complications during the post anaesthetic phase should be addressed if necessary. Your work must show clarity of thought with emphasis on the main problems and show critical engagement with the literature. You must use the tool Turnitin to assist you to reference appropriately throughout the paper.
