My Experience as a Student Catechist

During 2011, I started being a student catechist in our school. At first, I just join in that organization because of the credits and benefits of being one of it. So on that purpose, I became a catechist without having a better reason to be one. We always go in a particular school to teach children about God which we called catechism. I also enjoy and felt happy whenever we go there and teach, although we encounter children who are really so hard to handle and sometimes consumed lots of time just by telling them to behave in that given time. .
As years passed, I became a 4th year student. And here comes again, the application form which is to become a student catechist. During that time, I was really confused if I will join again or not because I remember what happened that year ago when I'm still a third year student. Complicated things happened that year which affects my studies and I was on the verge of wanting to leave the organization " catechist. So I was so confused but suddenly our adviser talked to me, I was so nervous that time because she suddenly told me that she knew my first purpose in joining the organization. I was going to explain it to her that time but she stopped me and asked, "Are you happy seeing the children you've been teaching? " and I told her yes. She told me that why would I stop serving, if I was happy in what I'm doing. And suddenly, one of the parents of my student approach me and tells how thankful she was because when her son became one of my student, he changed for the better.
