Lauren is saying is that when she was younger, she picked up the bible, was curious and wanted to learn more about it. "The first thing I remember is that the most fun thing to read was the bible, because my mother would narrate the bible in a different way for me so that it had a meaning for me, and she would tell the stories in a very vivid way.
