When Bonnie Parker was only four years old, her father died, which caused her mother to uproot the kids to move in with Bonnies grandparents in Cement City near Dallas, Texas. Bonnie's mother soon found work as a seamstress there. .
             When Bonnie was in high school, many teachers thought she was the best student. She was very smart and did very well in certain subjects such as, spelling, writing and public speaking. It was her second year of high school when she would meet her future husband, Roy Thornton. As their relationship blossomed, they decided to drop out of high school and get married. They were married just days before her 16th birthday on September 25, 1926. As fast as they fell in love, their marriage was over. It ended due to Roy Thornton being absent from their marriage often and always getting in trouble with the law. After their separation, Bonnie and Roy would never see each other again. They were never divorced legally. .
             As an adult, Bonnie uses her writing skills and writes poems about her life experiences and the people she will meet along the way and would change her life forever. Bonnie Parker was starting over after her marriage ended and began working as a waitress in Dallas, Texas where she would meet one of the men who would participate in her death four years later. His name was Ted Hinton who worked at the post office, but later became a lawman. .
             Clyde Barrow.
             Clyde Chestnut Barrow was born in a small town in Texas named Ellis County on March 24th, 1909. Unlike Bonnie Parker, he was born into a big family of seven children. He was the fifth born to his parents, Henry Basil Barrow and Cumie T. Walker. They were a very poor farming family that traveled to the urban slum known as West Dallas. They were so poor that they lived under their wagon until they saved up enough money to afford something better. Eventually they upgraded to a tent and to a poor farming family that didn't have a dime to their name that was a major step up for the family.
