The Characteristics of Motherhood

 

            There are a billion beautiful moments, fun events, and exciting changes that take place during the years of motherhood. One of the most thrilling parts is watching a child grow. Motherhood isn't the same as it used to be back in the fifty's, due to society, new generation, and technology. Caring for a baby can be fun, but it can also be a big readjustment. Motherhood brings with it unconditional love, discipline, and unwavering support. Unconditional love is known as affection without limitations. When a mother tells a child every night before bed they love them, that could be comforting in the dark of the night. It also shows a child's affection. Also, when a mother puts a child need before her needs, it shows how the parent goes without to make sure her child have what they need to survive. Ms. Kathy wanted to go party with some friends. Instead of buying a new dress, she went to the store and bought her daughter milk and pampers. Her child's milk was a necessity, but her dress wasn't. During motherhood it's necessary to discipline a child, because a parent should always steer the child in the right direction.
             Having discipline is an important key factor mother's use almost every day. Jason was caught sneaking a girl in the house without asking for permission from his mother. Sarah grounded her son from using his cell phone, and put a bright lime green sticky note on the front door saying, "Jason can't not come outside for a month ". Even though she loves her son, she has to show him it's important to communicate with one's mother, and stay focused on getting an education. A friend of mines punished her child for failing an easy art class, when she was an instructor herself. Her child would party all night, then try to do homework an hour before class. Her mother told her while in school, it's important to have a balance between parting and and completing her schoolwork. She took her daughter's car keys for a week, and made her walk to school.
