Teammates and Rivals in Formula 1 Racing

Jenson Button, is a great Formula 1 World Champion from Britain. He is also well known for his sociable personality, especially when he was dealing with conflicts between his teammate, Louis Hamilton. For an F1 racing driver, his teammate is also his biggest rival, since they are both driving the same level of cars produced by their team. Beating his own teammate is the priority, because people like to talk about who is the number one driver in a team. Unluckily, Jenson and Louis are both world champions, and very strong competitors. .
An accident happened in the Canada Grand Prix 3 years ago. Louis was trying to overtake Jenson, very rudely but failed. He ended up crashing, and taking himself out of the race, and Jenson won. Apparently it was Louis's fault, and he almost ruined his teammate's race. However, as a typical British gentleman, Jenson was so sociable, that he came to his teammate and start talking with smile. ' 'I'm sorry for your accident, Louis. Are you all right?'' This was what Jenson said to Louis, apologizing in a gentleman's way. Actually, this has happened several times, and people thought these were tough moments for these 2 drivers after then. Nevertheless, Jenson's sociable character, without any anger and complaint, successfully resolved the conflict between them every time. .
Some people might think he was surrendering in those conflicts, and his behaviors were not resolving, but avoiding confrontation. However, in this particular case, what he had done was the best way. Obviously, nothing could change the fact that they were no longer friends, but rivals as soon as they were signed by the same team. What they should do was maintain the ostensible friendship between teammates, at least in the public. Therefore, being an aggressor, trying to face up with the conflict and resolving the problem won't work in this case. In fact, Louis has claimed that Jenson and he are still friends, more than once in the public, though they've been through all of these conflicts.
