Benefits of Isolation in Ender's Game

If we heard the words loneliness and solitude, we might also think about the word alone. However these two words have a distinction from each other. Loneliness is negative way to say alone. It marked by a sense of isolation. He/she would still feel lonely even he/she is surrounded by people. These type of person is possibly because he/she does not belong to or does not fit into a certain community or group of people. Then the word solitude itself has similar meaning with loneliness but it lead to more positive thing. Solitude is the state of being alone without being lonely. Solitude is desirable. Something that means he/she wants to be alone and it provides him or her pleasure feelings of being alone. However, if one takes too much of it, he or she also could cast him or her self to isolation. The impact of loneliness is worse than solitude. Loneliness has many different causes and affect people differently. Being 'isolated' is one of the causes. Someone is being isolated due to stigma and discrimination.
Not unlike in Ender's Game, the dystopian story by Orson Scott Card, where in this world, isolation is planned for someone who has a special ability (genius) but also is able to handle emotion, interpersonal relationship, judiciously and emphatically. Moreover, under an oppressive government, they monitored the kids while they were still toddlers with the aim of recording their personality, which they use later on when they are elected to be the new soldiers of the military army by the age of six until sixteen years old. Subsequently, these 'special' chosen kids from all over the world are going to be sent to a Battle School, in space. Ender, the round, dynamic, and protagonist character in the book of Ender's Game, is one of the characters who is chosen to go to that place and he is the one isolated the most by the military government and Colonel Graff, Major Anderson, and Commander Mazer Rakham are the commanders who try to isolate him while he was in the Battle School.
