The Digestive System for fetal pigs and humans are very similar, most importantly the hallow organs, for starters the fetal pigs Digestive System begins the in mouth exactly like humans. Obvious differences are our teeth, fetal pigs have incisors and canine teeth only. Their mouth consists of many functions, for one they have the epiglottis it is a flap of tissue, it closes over the trachea while eating to prevent food from entering the airway. Next the esophagus this tube carries the food into the stomach, our stomach weighed approximately 8 grams, nothing abnormal was identified for the stomach. After the stomach we examined the small intestine, after examination and untangling the small intestine it weighed approximately 33 grams and measured around 238.
