A worldview is exactly what it sounds like. It is how we filter everything we see and experience in the world around us. When you take everything away and get down to the core of a worldview, it comes down to one of two types: Biblical or non-biblical. When you think of worldview a few things come to mind such as how the universe started, what happens after we die, and what our purpose on Earth is. All these things can be viewed in different aspects depending on whether or not it is a non-biblical view versus a Biblical view.
Worldview is how we filter the world around us. Everything we see and experience gets filtered through it. It can contain the answers that we tend to ask ourselves in different situations. A Biblical worldview means that you filter everything through the Bible. Biblical worldview starts with God. It is a Christ centered outlook that is biblically based. You understand that the bible is the living word of God, and that Jesus died to save you. John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." You understand that according to the Bible you can only be a Christian by confessing that Jesus is the only way to heaven and by being baptized. Romans 6: 3-4 "Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." On the other hand a non-biblical worldview might look at the simple fact that you go to church and do good things and because of that it makes you a Christian.
The best thing about a biblical worldview is that we have the bible to back up what we believe. When it comes down to the question on how the universe started, there are many different answers.
