My First Visit to Disneyworld

My first visit to Disney World was not just my first visit to; it was also McKenzie's, my seven year old daughter's and Oma's, my mother's first visit. My wife Carolina and I were waiting for our McKenzie to turn seven to take her to Disney. As some of you may know Disney trips can be costly so we wanted to make sure we got our monies worth by her remembering every single moment, after all Disney World is "where all dreams come true".
All started by us driving four hours north from our hometown fort Lauderdale, FL to the Disney World city of Orlando, FL. McKenzie had no idea where we were going, she thought we were going shopping since Oma is obsessed with shopping and Orlando is also known for their amazing outlets. McKenzie was expecting four days of long walks at the multiple outlets, stopping at dozens of stores and just waiting for Carolina and Oma to get out and maybe sneak some food in. We made it to Orlando and off course went to the malls for a couple of ours; she was somehow contempt since she got a couple of presents. See, her birthday was approaching so she picked some stuff that she was not going to get until the day of her birthday; however she was in for the surprise of her life.
Around six pm we start driving toward Disney World property and after a little while she started to realize where we were. Seeing her face light up and ask "Daddy, why there are so many busses with Disney on it?" gave me such a rush. I said, do you know where we are? , but never really answered to her question. Then the Disney hotels showed up on our right, with their big signs and character status everywhere. It was definitely one of the most cartoon-like places I have ever seen. Finally, when we arrived at out hotel it clicked. She was given a pink Disney wristband, with her name on it that is use to enter the parks and open the door of our room. After checkout she run through the Dalmatians hallways and next to the Goofs pool to our room.
