Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

" .
The Japanese had committed war crimes following their brutal tactics during WWII however they were amateur; many spontaneous and unsanctioned, unlike of the decision by U.S of dropping atomic bombs upon Japan which was calculate and had recognised consequence. As many inhumane war crimes committed by the Japanese forces- e.g. the torturing of POW's, and beheading of enemy casualties, none were as significant and large- scaled as the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing over 200,000 casualties and leaving over 2 million homeless. .
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was an unnecessary act,- the Japanese Imperial Emperor and his forces had already pleaded to surrender multiple times through various nations and their pleads were always declined. Japan had been already been defeated, the nation was particularly shredded before the atomic bombs. In March 1945 they were exposed to 1,700 tons by 300 American bomber planes and two months later the U.S unleased another 4,500 upon Japans major city- Tokyo, together destroying over 75 square miles of industrialisation and urbanisation. Japan was virtually destroyed with their civilians left homeless and industry collapsed. The Americans were aware that Japan was on the verge of collapse and they did not care, American air force General Curtis LeMay stated "we're driving them back to the stone age" and his fellow Commanding General Henry. H Arnold, "It always appeared to us, atomic bomb or no atomic bomb, the Japanese were already on the verge of collapse". The U.S.A recognised Japan would starved into submission, through the lack of oil, rice, medicines, and other essentials, and still decided to nuclear bomb Japan. America was malicious in dropping the world first atomic bomb, against a helpless nation.
The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were deliberate and were intended not only to collapse their military power and economy/trades but further to desolate Japan into ruins.
